Lashi Howard
As the daughter of Ajai and Indu, Lashi grew up watching them serve
the Lord with all of their hearts. This example inspired Lashi to
commit her life to Christian service as well.
She always loved kids and felt the need to do something for the
underprivileged children of India. In her senior year of high school,
she made a commitment to go to Bible college and then to return to
start a children¹s home.
After finishing her studies at Johnson Bible College in 2005, she started Bal Bhavan (Children¹s Home), a home for underprivileged children, which fulfilled her dream. They started with 32 children,
but now have almost 90 kids that are growing up to become incredible young leaders.
Lashi is married to Josh and has a wonderful son named Josiah. Their desire is to serve CICM, God-willing, for the rest of their lives.
Josh Howard
Josh grew up in a small town in Illinois. At thirteen, he gave his
first sermon and immediately felt God¹s call to go into ministry.
While at St. Louis Christian College, the call of God came again. This time it was for missionary service. He visited India for the first time in 2007 while on an internship. The moment he stepped off of the plane and put his foot in this country, he knew that this was where God was calling him to be. Shortly after this, he met his wife Lashi, fell in love, and got married in May of 2008. He began working for CICM in August of that same year and finished his degree with Dallas Christian College.
Josh now oversees our leadership training department, which currently includes two Bible colleges, with a vision to plant many more in the years to come. He has a heart to train leaders to reach the unreached millions of India and the surrounding countries.
Josh and Lashi have a wonderful son named Josiah and are committed to serving with CICM, God-willing, for the rest of their lives.
